Responsibilities 

Responsible for the technical quality of the solution in the area, ensuring all artefacts produced are of correct quality and reviewed in line with project development methodology. Working with the overall Development Manager for work allocation and reporting. Ideally with experience within financial services (banking and customer enrolment); working on fixed price projects; working in a mixed client team with client IT and business staff; working in a global environment (language is English) with multiple stakeholders.

Qualifications 

Very strong experience with development in
-Java
-J2EE
-Spring

Another important:
-ORM (Hibernate/iBatis)
-Oracle/SQL
-Design Patterns
-Unit testing, Junit
-Eclipse
-Unix - basic

Very good communication in English, both verbal and written
Team player, open mind, proactive, communication with business users, loyalty

Optional skills:
-Tools (Maven, Ant…)
-Analysis/Design
-Experience with iterative (Agile/Scrum) development

Advantage:
-Investment Banking experience
