Responsibilities
- CRE (Central & Rest of Europe) has a regional architecture team which needs to be staffed
- Architecture has essential role in ensuring CRE IT is efficient and cost effective
- Job objective is to provide technical advisory on aspects that relate to enterprise design in areas of Infrastructure, Security, Application and Business and ensure that CRE enterprise is aligned with ours overall minimum standards and can be favourably compared to its peers in terms of quality and cost
- Provide internal consultancy service to implementation projects in CRE
- Review and approve architectural deliverables of the project
- Maintain and update overview of regional standard for business and technical functionalities
- Act in advisory role to business owners in defining strategy and roadmaps
- Co-ordinate regional architects from local business units
Qualifications
- Graduate level (preferably from science specializations)
- 6+ years of professional experience in IT in financial institutions or consulting
- Must have experience in role of architect in financial institutions
- Must have experience of working in enterprise architecture related functions in financial industry, preferably insurance
- There are four key areas of expertise: Infrastructure, Security, Application and Insurance Business
- Candidates should have demonstrable expertise in at least one area with in depth knowledge of at least one more area
- Certifications are must to demonstrate expertise in chosen area
- Should demonstrate experience of ability to define strategic direction
- Excellent English is a must
- Additional languages from CRE countries (e.g. Poland, Hungary, Romania, Greece, Turkey, Spain) would be a big advantage
- Good communications skills, including communication in international environment
- Stakeholder management
- Problem Solving
- Insurance industry knowledge
- Analytical skills & ability to synthesis
- Independence in decision making
- Strong client orientation
- Create and conduct presentations
